Privacy

What the app collects and who sees it.

Location

Used only if you tap locate, and only while the app is open. Distances are worked out on your phone. Our server never gets it.

Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services to change it.

Map

The map is Mapbox. Their software sends them de-identified location, usage and diagnostic data with a random ID, not linked to you. Switch it off from the ⓘ on the map. Mapbox privacy policy.

Server

The app asks our server for the venue list and sends nothing else. Cloudflare hosts it and sees your IP address, as any host does. We don’t log it.

Usage

We count which screens and venues get opened, to improve the map and suggest related places. It’s anonymous: no name, no location, no recordings. Kept for a year. Collected with PostHog.

Email

Suggest an edit, Report a bug and the other buttons open your mail app. We get your address and your message, use them to reply and fix the map, and delete them if you ask. Your name is never published.
